It saves about 25 sec. for the application of the elastic compared to a standard production.
The machine is composed of two sewing groups, upper and lower, synchronized with each other.
The elastic side band is automatically prepared in the upper group.
Once sewn, the band is supplied to the lower group with constant tension.
The elastic can be applied with overlock seam (MODEL R396) or inserted inside a hem with seam up to 3 needles with coverstitch (MODEL R396H).
The elastic tension is adjustable using a parameter on the touch screen.
In the lower sewing group, the band is manually applied by the operator to the mattress cover sheet.
At the end of the cycle, the operator can use the lower sewing head also to realize the transversal seam of the band, thus finishing the mattress cover with a single machine.
The machine is complete with fabric and thread presence controls to grant the quality of the finished product.
Production Time is reduced by up to 30% compared to standard production.
