The machine allows to bind or overlock mattress pads, with rounded corners.
The system is completely automatic starting from one or two rolls of fabric.
It is possible to load the waterproof fabric and the quilted fabric already joined in a single roll and load them with two different rolls.
The material is pulled and measured by a motorized clamp and cut by a circular blade.
A presser then blocks the material and moves it to the sewing area, thanks to a Cartesian XY system that allows it to move along the entire length of the machine, also rotating on its own axis.
The machine can be prepared with two sewing heads, one for binding and one for overlocking (positioned one behind the other) or with only one head depending on the customer's needs.
In the case of two heads, the operator can choose on the program which sewing head he wants to use during the cycle.
Once positioned under the desired sewing head, the piece is binded or overlocked along its entire perimeter, creating rounded corners.
The binding unit, if provided, is equipped with the BA2000 system which allows you to insert the tape from the roll, cut it at the end of the binding and fold it inside for a higher quality finiture, automatically fixing the seam with the stitching condensing.
At the end of the sewing cycle, an unloading clamp takes the piece and stacks it.
During sewing it is possible to apply a label with loading and cutting from the roll.
The machine is equipped with a special vacuum cleaner for material scraps.
